A delicate starter pinch of Grade A Negin Safran — perfect for one or two special dishes.
Grade A Negin Premium Safran, hand-picked and dried in the high valleys of Herat, Afghanistan — carefully packed and shipped to you from Oldenburg, Germany, by the same family that has tended these crocus fields for generations.
Every thread of Almas Safran tells a story that begins in Herat, Afghanistan, where generations of our family have carefully cultivated and harvested saffron by hand. The unique climate of the region produces saffron renowned for its rich aroma, vivid color, and high concentration of valuable compounds. Often called “red gold,” saffron is among the world’s most precious spices, cherished for its culinary excellence, natural antioxidants, and centuries of cultural and wellness significance.
Each flower yields only three crimson threads. Those threads are separated the very same morning they are picked, dried gently in the cool mountain air, and sealed before they ever lose their perfume. Nothing rushed. Nothing diluted.

Every jar contains the same Grade A Negin Safran — the only thing that changes is how much of it you take home. Place an inquiry below and we will arrange shipping from Oldenburg.
